Contrary to its European struggles, Tesla achieved record-breaking performance in Turkey during August. The company reported sales of 8,730 Model Y vehicles, representing an 86% increase from July’s figures and capturing nearly half of the entire electric vehicle market in the country.

Vehicle registrations across the European Union, United Kingdom, and EFTA countries plummeted by 40% year-over-year to just 8,837 units.
