STAG Industrial is witnessing a significant shift in market sentiment, propelled by a notable analyst rating revision and impressive third-quarter financial results that have driven the stock to new heights.

Quarterly Performance Exceeds Forecasts

The fundamental driver behind the recent optimism is clear. On October 29, STAG Industrial reported its Q3 2025 earnings, delivering a powerful performance that surpassed market expectations. The company posted Core Funds From Operations (FFO) of $0.65 per share, beating the consensus estimate of $0.63. Revenue also demonstrated robust growth, climbing to $211.12 million. This represents a 10.7% increase compared to the revenue from the same quarter last year.

  • Earnings Beat: $0.65 Core FFO per share versus $0.63 estimated.
  • Revenue Growth: $211.12 million in Q3 revenue, a 10.7% year-over-year increase.
  • Dividend Track Record: Fifteen consecutive years of rising dividend payments.
  • Analyst Action: Rating upgraded from “Sell” to “Hold” on November 16.

Analyst Sentiment Shifts from Negative to Neutral

The strong quarterly figures have prompted a reassessment among market experts. In a significant move, Wall Street Zen upgraded its stance on STAG Industrial from “Sell” to “Hold” on November 16. This reversal indicates a substantially improved risk assessment and suggests the potential for more stable trading patterns going forward.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Stag Industrial?

Stock Price Reaches New Peak Amid Revised Targets

This positive fundamental and analytical news has directly translated into market performance. On November 10, STAG Industrial’s share price hit a new 52-week high of $39.01. The rally has been further supported by several financial institutions raising their price targets.

Wells Fargo increased its target to $38.00, up from $37.00. The Royal Bank of Canada demonstrated even greater optimism, setting a target of $42.00. Similarly, Evercore ISI established a price target of $42.00 alongside an “Outperform” rating.

The company’s foundational strength is underscored by its reliable dividend yield of 3.82% and a 15-year history of consistently increasing payouts. While there has been some insider selling activity in recent weeks, the core financial health of the company appears solid.
