As of January 31, 2024, Spotify has expanded its partnership with Snapchat, presenting users with an exciting opportunity to share their beloved songs with friends and express themselves through Snapchat’s augmented reality Lenses. This innovative feature, known as the “Share Track Lens,” incorporates the song’s title, artist name, cover art, and a convenient link to listen to the track on Spotify. By accessing the new Lens directly from the Spotify share menu, users can craft their own Snaps, infusing their personal touch into the music they share with their friends. This remarkable feature will be made available to both Android and iOS users worldwide, in regions where both Spotify and Snapchat are accessible.

It is worth noting that this collaboration between Spotify and Snapchat is not their first joint venture. Back in 2019, they introduced an integration that allowed all Spotify users with the Snapchat app installed to seamlessly share their favorite tracks, playlists, albums, and podcasts directly on Snapchat, enabling effortless sharing with friends or posting on their Story.

The integration of Spotify with Snapchat aligns with the current trend of app integrations. Snap Kit, which encompasses over 200 apps, including Spotify, has been instrumental in fostering these collaborations.
