Kosmos Energy‘s Q4 2023 revenue took a slight dip to $507.81 million, but still managed to exceed expectations by 10%. The company’s net production for the quarter reached 66,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd), with sales hitting around 73,000 boepd. Despite facing challenges such as decreased water injection at Jubilee, which have since been resolved, Kosmos Energy is looking forward to the positive impact of new projects like Winterfell and Tortue LNG on production for the rest of the year.

Pro Forma EBITDAX for the company saw a significant increase to $389.02 million from $332.17 million compared to the previous year, while the adjusted EPS of $0.31 surpassed the consensus estimate of $0.24. Operating cash flow for fiscal 2023 totaled $765.17 million, down from $1.13 billion the year before. As of December 31, cash and cash equivalents were at $95.34 million, with total long-term debt standing at approximately $2.4 billion. Kosmos Energy closed out 2023 with 1P reserves of around 280 million barrels of oil equivalent.
