Earnings per share (EPS) also saw a notable increase for NetApp Inc. The EPS for the past year was $5.79, reflecting a 41.53% increase from the previous year. In the third quarter, the EPS was $1.48, showing a 34.33% increase from the previous quarter.

Investors may view these positive indicators as a sign of the company’s profitability and potential for future growth, which could contribute to the positive performance of NTAP stock on that day.
