Giant Mining is accelerating development at its flagship Majuba Hill copper and silver project in Nevada. The company’s latest efforts center on a substantial drilling campaign designed to better define the mineral resources at the site. This push comes at a time when exploration in geopolitically stable jurisdictions like North America is becoming increasingly critical, amid warnings of potential global copper shortages.

Securing Resources Amid a Supply Crunch

Market analysts, including those at S&P Global, are forecasting a historic deficit in copper supply. The metal’s indispensable role in global electrification and infrastructure projects is driving intense focus on viable deposits in established mining regions. Against this backdrop, Giant Mining’s activities in Nevada are strategically positioned to address a tightening market.

The company has commissioned Big Sky Exploration to execute a drilling program totaling approximately 3,000 meters (10,000 feet). A key feature of this phase is the application of artificial intelligence to enhance geological planning. By utilizing AI-driven modeling, the aim is to optimize drill targets and improve the overall efficiency of resource identification.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Giant Mining?

Funding and Timeline for Majuba Hill

Operational stability for the project is supported by confirmed financing for the entire 2026 calendar year. The implementation of the core drilling program is firmly scheduled to proceed throughout the course of 2026.

Giant Mining is betting that its technological approach can meaningfully reduce exploration risk at this stage. The primary objective is to demonstrate the scalability of the Majuba Hill deposit. Success in this endeavor could position the company as a relevant future contributor to the North American copper supply chain.

The forthcoming results will be pivotal for the project’s valuation. Market observers will be watching closely to see if the AI-informed models lead to a substantial expansion of the property’s proven mineral resources.
