The AI infrastructure provider Nebius is positioning itself for a period of unprecedented scale. To meet surging demand from technology titans including Meta and Microsoft, the company is raising billions in fresh capital. The scale of its committed future revenue is a key reason institutional investors are eager to provide funding.
Recently, the Dutch-based firm concluded a convertible bond offering. Due to exceptionally strong investor appetite, the total volume was increased from an initially planned $3.75 billion to $4.0 billion. These proceeds are earmarked for constructing new data centers and acquiring state-of-the-art graphics processing units. This substantial capital raise is driven by a concrete foundation: Nebius holds contractually secured revenue potential approaching $50 billion. Recent agreements with Meta and Microsoft alone represent a value that significantly exceeds the company’s current total market capitalization.
Financial Performance and Strategic Goals
This aggressive expansion is already translating into the company’s financial results. For the full fiscal year 2025, Nebius reported a staggering 479% surge in revenue, reaching approximately $530 million. A critical milestone for investors was achieved in the fourth quarter, when the company posted its first positive adjusted EBITDA.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Nebius?
Looking ahead, management has outlined capital expenditure plans for the 2026 fiscal year in the range of $16 to $20 billion. The long-term strategic objective is clearly defined: by the end of this decade, the company aims to expand its global data center capacity to over 5 gigawatts. This expansion is designed to solidify its position as a leading infrastructure provider within the global AI sector.
Next-Generation Technology Deployment
Executing on these substantial commitments requires cutting-edge technology. The “Neocloud” specialist is focusing on next-generation hardware, planning to be among the first global providers to deploy NVIDIA’s new Vera Rubin platform at scale. Shipments of these advanced systems are scheduled to commence in early 2027.
In parallel, the company is bolstering its infrastructure’s foundational security. A newly announced partnership with CrowdStrike integrates advanced security standards directly into the AI cloud platform. This move is intended to help Nebius meet the stringent data protection requirements of large enterprise clients while also providing a secure development environment for AI-native startups.
