While much of the artificial intelligence conversation focuses on enterprise-level applications, a significant shift is occurring within the small and medium-sized business sector. Thryv Holdings has successfully transitioned AI from theoretical concept to practical implementation for thousands of small businesses. The central question for investors remains whether the company’s operational success can eventually translate into market performance.

Practical Applications Driving Real Growth

Thryv’s approach to artificial intelligence emphasizes tangible business solutions rather than abstract promises. The company’s recent publication, “Growth Masterclass – A Simple AI Playbook for Real Business Growth,” demonstrates this focus on actionable tools that enhance efficiency and drive expansion. The underlying message is clear: AI has evolved from future speculation to present-day competitive necessity.

This practical strategy appears to be delivering measurable results. For the second quarter of 2025, Thryv reported a substantial 48 percent year-over-year increase in SaaS revenue—a figure that commands attention even within the rapidly growing software industry. Concurrently, the company reduced its liabilities by $26 million, demonstrating disciplined financial management alongside impressive growth metrics.

External Validation and Market Recognition

The market has taken notice of Thryv’s progress. The company’s inclusion in the Constellation ShortList™ for B2B Marketing Automation Platforms and its recognition as one of Selling Power Magazine’s “60 Best Companies to Sell For 2025” underscore its growing industry standing.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Thryv Holdings?

Analyst sentiment has also turned increasingly positive. Zacks Equity Research recently revised its EPS estimates upward, reflecting heightened expectations for future profitability. Investors will have the opportunity to hear directly from management during the upcoming B. Riley Securities’ 8th Annual Consumer & TMT Conference.

The Performance Paradox

Despite these strong operational achievements and external validations, Thryv’s market performance tells a different story. The stock has declined more than 12 percent since the beginning of the year and nearly 30 percent over the past twelve months. Shares currently trade approximately 37 percent below their 52-week high.

This divergence presents a compelling question for market participants: does Thryv represent a fundamentally undervalued opportunity, or are markets identifying concerns not immediately apparent in the operational data? The coming weeks will reveal whether the company’s underlying business strength can ultimately propel its market valuation.
