This massive funding package draws from two separate sources. A total of $5.7 billion originates from remaining allocations within the CHIPS and Science Act, while an additional $3.2 billion is being provided through the Secure Enclave program. When combined with previously awarded CHIPS Act grants totaling $2.2 billion, the overall government support for Intel now reaches $11.1 billion.
