In the final quarter of 2022, American Eagle Outfitters raked in $1.5 billion in total net revenue and showed continual profit growth. First-quarter results for 2023 met expectations, with $1.1 billion in total net revenue.

Net income was $125.14 million for the past year and $96.70 million for the third quarter, decreasing by 70.18% compared to the previous year but increasing by 99.09% since the last quarter. Earnings per share (EPS) were $0.64 for the past year and $0.49 for the third quarter, decreasing by 68.68% since the previous year but increasing by 96.81% since the last quarter. AEO’s financial performance showed mixed results, with total revenue remaining flat but increasing since the last quarter, while net income and EPS decreased significantly compared to the previous year but saw strong increases since the last quarter. Investors and analysts will be closely monitoring AEO’s performance in upcoming quarters to see if the company can sustain revenue growth and improve profitability.
