On January 17, 2024, Sinclair and Diamond Sports Group, LLC (DSG) have come to a global resolution, putting an end to their legal disputes. As part of this agreement, the Management Services Agreement between Sinclair LLC (STG) and DSG has been amended. Remarkably, DSG has decided to withdraw its $1.5 billion lawsuit against Sinclair and all other defendants. In return, Sinclair will make a cash payment of $495 million to DSG.

Taking into account the various aspects of this settlement, including tax benefits, additional Management Services Agreement payments to STG, and other assets and value received by Sinclair, the overall cost is estimated to be around $250-325 million. This resolution marks a significant milestone for both parties involved.
