Investor focus is turning to Sprouts Farmers Market as the specialty grocer executes a key phase of its national expansion, marked by a significant entry into the competitive New York market. This move underscores a broader strategy to aggressively grow its store count, even as the company prepares to release critical financial results that will test market confidence.

Financial Results and Capital Allocation in Focus

All eyes are on February 19, 2026, when management will disclose fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 earnings. The upcoming report and subsequent conference call are anticipated to provide not only a detailed financial account but also crucial forward guidance for fiscal 2026. The company’s previous forecasts set the following expectations:

  • Full-Year 2025 EPS: Projected between $5.24 and $5.28.
  • Q4 2025 EPS: Expected to fall in the range of $0.86 to $0.90.
  • Share Repurchase Program: An active $1.00 billion authorization remains in place.
  • Current Store Count: Operations span more than 460 locations.

Beyond operational growth, the substantial share buyback initiative continues to be a pillar of the firm’s strategy for delivering shareholder value.

East Coast Expansion Reaches a Milestone

The company’s persistent eastward growth recently achieved a strategic landmark with the opening of its first New York state location. The new store in Centereach, Long Island, which commenced operations on January 30, 2026, extends Sprouts’ physical presence to 25 U.S. states. This launch is a direct component of an ambitious blueprint targeting a ten percent annual increase in store count. For the 2026 calendar year alone, leadership plans to inaugurate approximately 40 new sites.
